Can Am
Can Am, headquartered in Valcourt, Quebec is a recent entrant, as an independent company, in the off-road, UTV market. The company is a spin-off of Bombardier
Defender
The Can-Am Defender line is the company's first foray into the work/utility end of the UTV market. The Can-Am Defender vehicle was designed and engineered from the ground up, to establish new standards in terms of torque and power, as well as versatility to cater to all types of outdoor activities. BRP leveraged its proven Rotax engine technology to create a work-focused version of the durable V-Twin Rotax engines, specially calibrated to offer the best torque of the industry: the new Rotax 50-hp HD8 or 72-hp HD10 engines.
UTV/Side-by-Sides
